Mrs. Wedad's Message
Welcome back! It was so wonderful to see the happy faces of children and parents returning from a restful vacation.
Flag Day celebration was a success, considering the COVID guidelines we maintained. All students were able to view the live event and sang along in unity with the National Anthem. We are thankful to our parents and students who took part in this year's event.
We are excited to inform you that we have an eventful month planned in November.
- Monthly assemblies for Middle School have commenced. We regard assemblies as an important feature of our school. These provide us with an opportunity to reinforce our aims and ethos and to celebrate our student’s achievements.
- Progress Reports can be collected from the Admissions Reception on the 4th and 7th November, prior to meeting your teacher.
- Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for November 4th and 7th. A message from your teacher was shared last week to schedule your appointment. Please contact your teacher directly if you still need to do so.
- November 4th and 7th will be early release days for children to allow for parent-teacher conferences. A message was shared via WhatsApp on 2nd November as a reminder.
Expo trips are being organized for our students. These will be taking place in December and January.
We are excited to share our Community Sports Program launched with our partner Gulf Star. See details below on how your family and friends can remain active throughout the Dubai 30 with us here at Ignite.
Following our Parent Coffee Morning recommendations, we will be carefully monitoring the healthy food policy in place. Additionally, following the MOE guidelines the below items are not allowed in schools.
I look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming Coffee Mornings.
