Mrs. Wedad's Message 

This week Ignite School celebrated Read Around the World with many class activities and our school Book Fair. It was with great pleasure that I was able to visit classrooms to see students engaged in purposeful and fun reading activities. Our students really enjoyed reading with their Reading Buddies.

Dubai Municipality Heatlth and Safety inspected our school this week. We  are happy to report that we received an A rating. We are proud of our maintenance teams, support staff and Mr Barry for ensuring our students are in a safe and healthy learning environment.

We recognized our student's achievements in all grades and areas. Students enjoyed receiving their certificates and celebratory pizza party.

Student attendance continues to be at record high performance. We appreciate your support in getting your children to school every day and on time.

Wishing all our MAP testers a successful week in testing. Be sure that your children have ample sleep and a healthy breakfast each day.

Our academic calendar was modified to accommodate the many educational student events and activities for the remainder of the year. 

Mark you calendars! Student photos will be taken the week of April 11. This will be the first week after Spring Break. More information on the exact day of your child's photo will be shared. Please ensure they are wearing proper uniform.

A reminder that Monday, March 7, we invite you to bring your little ones for our Kindergarden Registration. As always, we want our siblings to have first seat. We continue to welcome new students for Term 2 and host Registration Days for 2022-2023 on Monday and Wednesday from 3 - 5 pm every week.

March is a month full of academic, recreational, & cultural events for our students. 

Parental Involvement

Following our 6-point parental involvement program mentioned in last week’s newsletter, a second main way that we work with parents is called

Communicating. What we aim to do here is: Design effective forms of school-to-home and home-to school communications about school programs and their children’s progress.
