Welcome back!
I trust you enjoyed a well-deserved Spring Break with family and friends.
There are now 53 school days remaining until the official school year’s end on July 6th.
This week I attended the Fourth Grade awards ceremony to recognize students who met their MAP goals and have made us all proud of their academic achievements. We will be hosting all grade level ceremonies over the next few weeks and the official emails will be shared to the parents of recipients this coming week.
Grade 4 Math was an especially notable area of MAP progress with a movement of 8% year over year growth into the Average, High Average and High categories!
As usual, I’m also pleased to recognize our mid-month IXL Honor Roll students. Check to see if your child made the list! If you are a regular reader of this post then you will know that there is a strong correlation between IXL usage and higher performance on standardized test scores such as the MAP test.
