Mrs. Wedad's Message 

Yesterday's National Day festivities at Ignite School were a great success. Our National Day celebration was made possible because of the amazing efforts of our parents, teachers, staff and community members. The events were student lead and brought joy to everyone. We wish to extend our sincerest thanks to all who worked tirelessly to ensure every detail was attended to, especially Mrs. Heba, PTA President, Mrs. Nada, Mrs. Kasia, and our teachers.

On the occasion of the 50th National Day of the UAE, we wish the UAE and its visionary leadership a Happy 50th National Day. May God bless the UAE.

A reminder of the upcoming National Day holiday, it is expected that we will be off school on Wednesday and Thursday next week. However, it is not yet officially communicated via KHDA and I will confirm this with you as soon as we receive it.

Following the National Day holiday, we have a week of school before Winter Break. It is important for the continuance of our student's education that every student attends school that week. Winter Break camps are available for children to attend hosted by Gulf Star Sports. They have daily and full break offers. See below for complete details and to register your child.

Over the past 2 weeks we received invitations to participate in special events hosted by Expo2020. Students in select classes and grades attended the Dubai Police Tolerance March, The Solar Park, and Expo World of Opportunities. Class field trips, as previously mentioned, are planned for January and February for all students.

This week 8 students that attended the field trip last week to participate in the Dubai Police Tolerance March at Expo were invited to receive an award on behalf of Ignite School. 

World of Opportunity

Grades 3 - 6 were invited to attend Expo's World of Opportunity school program this week. It has been an honor to receive these invitations and a privilege to arrange their attendance. Throughout the months of January and February class trips will be held for each grade level.

Congratulations to Rancy! Rancy, one of our Grade 7 students, won a tablet for having the courage to answer a question during her visit to Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's Solar Park organized by @expo2020

What a fabulous way to end off the week! Today our students experienced the formal and informal joys of our National Day program as citizens and residents of this great nation get ready to celebrate next week.
